SUPPORT

Scholarship awards for junior or senior student-athletes who attend target metro-Atlanta high schools and who have faced a challenge or hardship. Some (not all) examples listed below.

• Death of immediate family member while in high school

• Terminal illness of self or immediate family member while in high school

• Parent incarcerated while in high school

• Sub-optimal housing / loss of family home

• Season-ending injury during junior or senior year

MENTORSHIP

We will pair these student-athletes with a mentor for one to two semesters. Our mentors will be former student-athletes of the Atlanta & South Fulton communities.

During the course of the mentorship program, mentors and mentees will participate in planned learning opportunities to strengthen the relationship and develop what we hope will be lifetime bonds.

MOTIVATION

Our ultimate goal is to motivate previous mentees to reach back and pull forward by volunteering as mentors in future program years.
